Sip ‘n Spin with Jump Mountain Vineyard

This session will give you a taste of what it’s like to throw pottery on the wheel to help you decide if you may enjoy an 8-week wheel throwing class where you really get to dive in. Speaking of tastings, we will start with a wine tasting of favorites by Jump Mountain Vineyard owners for an extra fee of $25 (payable at the event). A glass of wine to enjoy after is included in the fee and is open to all, 21 and older. Wine will also be available to purchase.
Note: pieces will be fired after the fact and available at a later date.
Jump Mountain Vineyard is a family-owned farm winery between Staunton and Lexington. Our goal is to produce carefully crafted, European-style wines with a distinctly local character from the sandstone and limestone soil of Jump Mountain, west of historic Lexington, Virginia.

To protect our kiln, clay must be from our shop. We have our own studio glazes for you to use. We do not allow any other glazes or underglazes on pots we are to fire for you. You are welcome to bring your own tools, but beginner tools will be provided.
